As part of our Sustainable September campaign, we are thrilled to spotlight Manx Solar Electrical Ltd, a business dedicated to helping the Island reduce its carbon footprint through renewable energy solutions. From solar panels to heat pumps and battery storage, Manx Solar Electrical is driving innovation in renewable technology.

Manx Solar Electrical Ltd have been installing renewable energies for over 15 years. We install Solar Pv, Tesla Battery Storage, EV chargers and heat pumps. As the first company in the Island to brand solely as a renewable energy installer, we have a wealth of experience and knowledge to pass on to our customers. 

Our work is held to the highest standards, and we are proud to hold MCS accreditation, a mark of quality recognised by installers both locally and across the UK. This rigorous evaluation ensures that we consistently provide quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

It can start with a simple recycling bin, or LED lighting, right up to Solar arrays and battery storage. Every action counts! The financial benefits of investing in energy-saving equipment are clear—companies see long-term savings, while also reducing their environmental impact. Solar Panels

Solar Panels are a very efficient way to harvest the Isle of Man’s solar potential and turn it into power for your home or business. The Isle of Man produces more solar than you would think, even on an overcast day, we are still reaping the rewards of free electricity!

A small solar array of 8 panels can produce 3630kwhrs of electricity and this equates to an annual cost saving of £1034.55.

On a larger scale, Manx Solar Electrical installed 228 Solar panels to Manx Telecom HQ in 2023.  In their first year, the 228 solar panels have generated over 70 MWh of electricity, saved more than 27.5 tonnes of CO2 emissions, which is the equivalent of planting 820 trees. Heat Pumps

Heat Pumps have come a long way in the last few years and are now highly efficient. More importantly, they are sustainable, using the air outside you home and condensing it to create heat inside your home. We are delighted to be partnered with one of the largest suppliers in the UK, Mitsubishi UK, who manufacture their units in the UK, cutting down their carbon footprint. A very important part of our Environmental Policy is incorporating environmental factors into our business decisions.

Battery Storage

Manx Solar Electrical are the only approved Tesla Powerwall installer on the Island and we are thrilled to offer the best technology available. With a Powerwall, you can store solar energy generated during the day for use at any time. Battery storage can increase your annual solar savings by up to 40%.
