New Non-Executive Board Member openings

Business Isle of Man is seeking expressions of interest from industry representatives to fill up two Non-Executive Board Member openings.

These are non-remunerated posts and provide a unique opportunity to play an integral role in shaping the current and future direction of the Business Agency and supporting the continued growth, diversification and success of the Isle of Man's export and local economies.

  

About the positions available

For the available positions, we are looking for:

  1. Representatives for large retail
  2. Individuals with cross industry and cross functional experience that can provide overarching strategic direction to Business Isle of Man initiatives regardless of industry experience.

Please note that this position is also open to individuals based off Island who have the relevant experience, and are willing to be a spokesperson for the Island both locally and internationally.

  1. What are your motivations for joining the Business Isle of Man Non-Executive Board?
  2. What value will you add to the Business agency based on your past experience.
  3. What do you see as the key opportunities for the Business agency in current or emerging industries? Business Isle of Man supports and actively seeks to develop a broad range of sectors alongside our longstanding and successful traditional sectors like Engineering and Manufacturing. A key focus for us is to build on our successes and continuously apply best practice for the diversification and betterment of emerging industries.
  4. Please mention what role you would like to opt for (Large retail representative or overarching support) and the relevant skills that support your choice.

Submissions close on 23rd September 2024 at midday.
