FACEBOOK INTRODUCE 'SHOP' FEATURE FOR BOTH FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM IN THE ISLE OF MAN

Following on from the introduction of Instagram ‘Reels’ and ‘Music’ in the Isle of Man. Facebook Shops and Instagram Shops is now available to users in the Isle of Man.

Facebook ‘Shop’ is a free, mobile-focused service that enables businesses to create an online store for Facebook. ‘Shop’ is fully customisable and enables businesses to add product collections and branding colours with a number of customisable fonts. The service provides businesses with the ability to connect with customers through WhatsApp and Messenger to answer questions and offer support.

Customers will be able to browse a range of products on a business’ ‘Shop’, save their favourites and purchase a product or service.

Instagram ‘Shop’ enables businesses to sell products in Instagram and allows users to discover, browse and purchase their favourite products all within the Instagram App.

Functionality also includes live-shopping features which provides businesses with the opportunity to tag products from their shop in live stories.  

Another key feature of both platforms, is the ability to create and connect loyalty schemes to customers personal Facebook and Instagram accounts. The service will remove the need for physical loyalty cards and provide businesses easier tracking of their loyalty systems.
