Get Christmas Markets in Your Diary
01 November 2024
As it’s now November 1 I feel obliged to tell you it’s now 54 days of festive joy until Christmas Day (sorry not sorry).
Personally, I don’t care much for Christmas Day itself, but I live for the build up; the drinks, the food and of course, the Christmas Markets.
Thankfully, you don’t have to risk much travel disruption to get to Manchester or Liverpool for the markets as there is a bundle of them happening right on our doorstep.
What I adore about Manx Christmas markets is that you know where your money is going and that the produce will be fresh, unlike markets in other counterparts where the sweet jars have been open for a month… yum.
Christmas Markets are the perfect excuse to meet up with friends, family, and start buying Christmas presents for the list that only ever seems to lengthen… incase you were wondering, yes get your cousins dog the toy too, they won’t want to be left out.
For the little ones, a lot of these fairs have a jolly Father Christmas hidden away in a magical grotto, and for the scrooges out there, they will more than likely have a bit of mulled wine to encourage the festive spirit.
You’ll be able to get your hands on handmade crafts and gifts, artisan decorations, delicious homemade treats, candles, jewellery, knitwear and so so much more.
“Where and WHEN?!”, I hear you cry. Luckily for you, we along with Love Manx have compiled a full list (to the best of our knowledge) of the Christmas markets that are being held on our little isle:
